Stratford is a small borough located in Camden County, New Jersey. It was incorporated as a borough in 1925, previously being part of Waterford Township. The area was originally settled by the Lenni Lenape Native Americans, and later by European colonists in the 17th century. The city was named after Stratford-upon-Avon in England.
